Recommended Computer Hardware

NOTE: The HP DV8000 is not compatible with MyoVision at this time.  If you already own one you can use a SIIG PCMCIA USB add on card.

 

It is important that all computers used for any device with patient contact be grounded, meaning that the plug coming out of the computer MUST have three prongs on it as shown below.

Requirements:

  1. All computers MUST have the symbol: "Designed for Windows XP or Vista" on the computer.
  2. Notebook Computers recommended include:
    HP Pavillion DV2000
  3. All name brand desktop computers are acceptable with "Designed for Windows XP SP2 or Vista " logo on them.
  4. Printers: All current inkjet printers are acceptable.
